Aguilar seeks new term

MANILA, Philippines - Re-electionists Mayor Vergel Aguilar and Luis Bustamante filed their certificates of candidacy for the 2013 midterm elections at the Commission on Elections office in Las Piñas City yesterday.

They were accompanied by candidates for councilor in the city’s two districts. Aguilar, Bustamante and the councilor candidates are all running under the Nacionalista Party ticket.
