Hospital offers P.1-M reward for missing baby

- Reinir Padua - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The officials of a hospital where an infant was allegedly kidnapped have offered P100,000 for information on the baby’s whereabouts.

Sta. Teresita Hospital director Dr. Melchor Cruz told Quezon City Police District director Chief Superintendent Mario dela Vega about the reward through a letter.

“Maybe it’s their way of showing their cooperation in our investigation,” Dela Vega said.

Ma. Cecilia delos Santos claimed her newborn infant was taken from her right inside the hospital’s maternity ward on Sept. 4 by a woman who posed as a doctor.

Informants may contact the QCPD through phone numbers 731-8341 or 712-5757 or the QCPD Tactical Operations Center in Camp Karingal through numbers 924-4444, 925-8417 or 0927-2351095.

Delos  Santos’ helper, who had been considered a suspect, did not show signs of lying during a polygraph test, a source said.
