Manila, Philippines - A boy found a human head under the shanties along the Manila Bay shoreline at the Parola Compound in Binondo, Manila yesterday morning.
Police said 11-year-old Jessie Mark Gullas was searching through garbage for scrap to sell to junkshops when he found the head, wrapped in packaging tape.
The face was bloated and the eyes had popped out of their sockets, according to investigators.
