6 hurt in AFP truck mishap

MANILA, Philippines - Six persons were injured when an Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) truck figured in an accident in Manila before dawn yesterday.

A report from the Manila Traffic Bureau stated that AFP employee Joseph Pacion was driving the Elf truck (SHT-218) when a person suddenly crossed the corner of Legarda and Concepcion Aguila streets in San Miguel at around 2 a.m. The truck turned over when Pacion tried to avoid the pedestrian.

Aside from Pacion, those injured were passengers Marilyn Terones, Criselda Reyes, Ana Marie Barcelo, Lorna Ababao and Carmina Reyes.
