Farm supply store loses P.6 M to robbers
MANILA, Philippines - At least eight men on three motorcycles robbed a farm supply store in Valenzuela City of more than P600,000 Saturday afternoon.
Senior Police Officer 1 Percy Villanueva said the robbers went into the Superior Stock Farm store on Interior Marcelo street in Barangay Maysan at around 3 p.m.
Three of the robbers stayed on their motorcycles outside the store’s gate while five others, pretending to be customers, entered and disarmed security guard Marvin Malayas of his .38 caliber revolver.
After disarming the guard, three of the robbers, with drawn handguns, forced their way into the store’s back office. The men took P697,572, representing the store’s earnings for the day, and two cell phones from secretary Lalaine Manac.
