Pilot nabbed for shabu
Manila, Philippines - Police have arrested a commercial pilot for allegedly selling shabu in Taguig City recently.
Rioklyn Toledo, 40, a resident of Better Living in Parañaque City, is now facing drug charges for possession of 9.14 grams of shabu, said Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) director general Undersecretary Jose Gutierrez Jr.
Gutierrez said the suspect was nabbed by agents from the PDEA Regional Office National Capital Region under Director Wilkins Villanueva shortly after he handed over the illegal drugs to a poseur-buyer.
“We are verifying information that Mr. Toledo supplies drugs to his co-pilots and some foreign tourists,” the PDEA chief said.
Aside from shabu, police also recovered from Toledo a caliber .45 handgun and a Nissan Sentra sedan he allegedly used in his illegal drug trade.
Toledo was detained at the PDEA jail in Quezon City.
