Reporter files raps vs Annabelle

MANILA, Philippines - Reporter Chito Alcid lodged a complaint yesterday with the Taguig City police station against talent manager Annabel Rama for allegedly attacking him at the wake of comedy king Dolphy Friday night.

Alcid reportedly went to the station’s investigation unit before noon to formally have the incident recorded in the police blotter. He told police how Rama hurled invectives at him and chased him with a knife.

Rama reportedly attacked Alcid after seeing him at the dining room of the Heritage Park’s chapel. She had previously filed libel charges against Alcid for allegedly writing negative reports about her children.

Rama later apologized to the Quizon family via her Twitter account, saying she was provoked.

This was the second time this year that Rama was reported to have acted inappropriately while attending a wake of a high-profile personality. Last April, she also reportedly made a scene at the wake of Joey Stevens, actress Amalia Fuentes’ husband.
