Air Force man arrested for pointing gun at Amalia Fuentes
MANILA, Philippines - A Philippine Air Force sergeant was arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at actress Amalia Fuentes in Quezon City Sunday afternoon.
S/Sgt. Sesinando Tee Jr., 39, who identified himself as a member of the Military Intelligence Group, was charged with grave threats.
Superintendent Norberto Babagay, commander of Quezon City Police District Station 11, said the incident happened at around 5 p.m. at one of Fuentes’ houses in New Rolling Hills Subdivision, Barangay Damayang Lagi.
Fuentes had rented the house to Rosemarie Tee-Licup, the suspect’s sister, and her husband.
Fuentes said her helper told her the Licups were leaving the house and loading all of their belongings into a shipping container without the consent of the actress. Since the Licups still owed her money, Fuentes proceeded to the house.
The actress, who was in a Mitsubishi Pajero, arrived in the area and parked parallel to Tee’s Hyundai Starex van. When the suspect saw Fuentes, Tee allegedly lowered the window of the Starex and pointed his gun at her. He was later arrested by police officers, who had responded when Fuentes called before she proceeded to the house.
Meanwhile, the Licups filed a complaint against Fuentes and her son, Gerard Stevens, for grave threats, frustrated homicide, grave coercion, oral defamation, and unjust vexation before the fiscal’s office.
The couple claimed Fuentes shouted invectives at them while her son ordered his pit bull to attack them. They also said the actress and her son assaulted them.
