MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino will be the special guest when the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) launches its Nationwide Operational Assessment Hazards (NOAH) project in Marikina City tomorrow.
The project has graphical satellite radar and Doppler data forecasts showing clouds passing by in an area as well as storms.
The city is currently using NOAH as it provides more information regarding weather and floods.
“It (NOAH) has been a big help for the city to identify real-time weather and flood. This way, the city can immediately take preventive measures against disasters,” said Marikina Mayor Del de Guzman.
