MANILA, Philippines - Lawyers of columnist Ramon Tulfo presented witnesses before the Pasay City prosecutor’s office yesterday to support the frustrated homicide charges he filed against couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto.
Security guards Eden Budelas, Aries Afable, Wilson Cadiente Go, and Flincer Baje; and airport policemen Rodolfo Antalan and Quintin Navarro filed their sworn statements before Senior Assistant city prosecutor Orlando Mariano.
The witnesses confirmed the May 5 brawl at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
Accoding to Budelas, Barretto berated them after they failed to get Tulfo’s cell phone, which he used in getting photos of the actress while she was complaining to the Cebu Pacific ground crew.
During the hearing, Santiago’s lawyer submitted their counter-affidavit, seeking the dismissal of the frustrated homicide charges. They insisted that Tulfo started the trouble.
