P30-million shabu seized from Malaysians at NAIA

MANILA, Philippines - Customs officers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 confiscated six kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, which has a street value of P30 million, from a Malaysian couple who flew in from Hong Kong Saturday afternoon.
The packets of shabu were found hidden in a false bottom of one of two suitcases carried by Chandrar Nadarjan and his wife, Tami Sevki Veloo.
