Burglars steal P.2 M, guns from security agency
Manila, Philippines - A security agency lost P200,000 in cash and an undetermined number of firearms after burglars broke into its office in Caloocan City.
Security inspector Darryl Ortiz discovered the burglary at the Knight Line Security Services office at the Doña Lolita building in Grace Park at around 7 a.m. yesterday, Police Officer 2 Antonio Billedo Jr. said.
The agency’s owner, Virgilio Aguilar, said he also lost a laptop worth P38,000.
Police said the burglars scaled the front of the building, got to the second floor, and gained entry into the security agency’s office through an airconditioner slot.
Once inside, the burglars used a jackhammer to open the steel vault.
