2 Chinese nabbed with P1.5-M shabu

Manila, Philippines -  Two Chinese men were arrested Thursday night for allegedly selling 400 grams of shabu for P1.5 million to an undercover police agent in Pasig City.

Qingjian Shi, 40, and Benson Chua, 47, were nabbed after they handed over the shabu at the parking lot of a restaurant along Cpl. Henry Javier street in Barangay Oranbo at around 6:30 p.m.

Senior Inspector Virgilio Santiago, chief of the Eastern Police District (EPD) anti-drug task force, and his men also confiscated the two suspects’ Honda Wagon (RCY-699).

EPD director Chief Superintendent Miguel Laurel ordered that Shi and Chua be charged with drug pushing before the Pasig prosecutor’s office. The two men are being held at the EPD detention center.
