2 Pakistani men, Pinay nabbed for selling abortion drug
MANILA, Philippines - Police have arrested two Pakistani nationals and their Filipina companion for allegedly selling “Cytotec,” an abortion drug, in Quiapo, Manila last Monday.
The three suspects presented by the police to Mayor Afredo Lim were identified as Majid Bisnar Khan, 34, Subha Ali, 36, and Gracelyn Cuteng Baldo, 29.
They were caught in an entrapment last Monday apparently waiting for their clients inside a fastfood restaurant in Quiapo, police said.
Recovered from the suspects were 2,000 pieces of the abortive medicine worth P10,000.
Inspector Joselito Von Possel, Plaza Miranda police community precinct commander, said the suspects’ arrest came after they received complaints about the rampant selling of “Cytotec” tablets near the Quiapo Church.
