Taguig policeman kills fellow officer's pa

MANILA, Philippines - A Bicutan policeman, who had an axe to grind against a fellow officer, killed the latter’s father instead in Tondo, Manila last Tuesday.

Danilo Serrano, 62, a resident of Lacson street, suffered multiple gunshot wounds. PO1 Fulgencio Sideco and his two cohorts escaped and is now the subject of a manhunt.

According to witnesses, Sideco and his two cohorts, went to the house of Serrano at around 4:30 p.m., looking for PO2 Carlito Serrano of the Manila Police District-Police Station 1.

When Sideco failed to find the younger Serrano, he turned his ire on the father and shot him successively.

A certain Edwin Crisostomo and Cora, were also wounded.

Sideco was among those arrested for indiscriminate firing at the height of the New Year revelry. He is also a suspected drug user.
