- Pete Laude -

MANILA, Philippines - A mechanic was shot dead in his house in Barangay North Bay Boulevard North while a fisherman’s body with several gunshot wounds was found in Barangay Tangos, both in Navotas City Tuesday night.

Senior Inspector Ben Salapar Andeo, Navotas City staff duty officer, said the wife of Marc Ross Flores, 32, sought police help claiming that unidentified gunmen entered their house and shot her husband.

Northern Police District Scene of the Crime Operatives led by Chief Inspector Benigno Asilar Jr. recovered assorted drug paraphernalia and a sachet of shabu at the crime scene.

Earlier that night, the body of 25-year-old Sherwin Nova was discovered by two students along F. Pascual street.

Senior Superintendent Florendo Quibuyen, Navotas City police chief, directed his men to investigate both cases.
