City Hall employees pinag-iingat vs katiwalian

MANILA, Philippines - Pinag-iingat ni Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim ang mga em­pleyado at opisyal ng city hall sa pagtupad ng kanilang mga tungkulin upang maiwasan ang anumang kaso ng katiwalian. 

Ipinahayag ito ni Lim, sa ginanap na flag raising ceremony kahapon kung saan mayroon umanong mga empleyado at opisyal ang nadedemanda at pinasususpinde ng Office of the Ombudsman.

“We have been very careful with our official transaction.  Hindi na ako magbabanggit ng mga pangalan. Meron mga nadedemanda ngayon na matataas na tao galing dito sa Manila City Hall at pinasususpinde ng Ombudsman for one reason or the other,” ani Lim.

 Partikular na tinukoy ni Lim ang mga department heads na umano’y dapat na nakakaalam ng nangyayari sa kanyang departamento.

Samantala, inutos din ni Lim ang pagpapalabas ng P84 milyon financial assistance para sa city employees para sa paggunita ng Lenten season.

Ayon kay Lim, inatasan na niya si Marissa de Guzman, Officer-In-Charge ng City Treasurer’s Office na madaliin ang proseso ng pamamahagi ng nasabing financial assistance.

Nabatid na para sa first quarter financial assistance, ang mga regular employees ay makakatanggap ng P7,500.00 bawat isa P2,250 naman ang bawat casual employees.

Kasamang dumalo sa flag-raising ceremony sina Chief of Staff at Media Bureau Chief Ricardo “Ric” De Guzman, Councilors Niño dela Cruz, Josie Siscar, Bimbo Quintos, Ramon­ Morales at Joey Uy, city department heads at directors ng mga city-run hospitals.
