Lawman hurt in motorbike mishap

MANILA, Philippines - A police officer detailed with the Police Security and Protection Group (PSPG) in Camp Crame was seriously injured after his motorcycle collided with a car driven by a doctor at the corner of Ayala and Makati Avenues yesterday morning.

Investigators said Police Officer 3 Leondres Kaotider was thrown from his motorcycle after it collided with a Mazda 3 sedan driven by Dr. Ricardo Fernandez. Kaotider was rushed to the Makati Medical Center.

Investigators said they will still have to review footage taken by closed-circuit television cameras near the accident scene to determine what really happened.
