4 men rob, molest businessman's family
MANILA, Philippines - Four men were arrested after they broke into a businessman’s house in Mandaluyong City and molested his wife, daughter and sister-in-law before robbing them Monday night.
Inspector Justiniano Pano said the suspects entered the businessman’s house along Cruz street in Barangay Zaniga at around 8 p.m. Monday. At gunpoint, the suspects bound and gagged the businessman. The suspects grabbed his gold wedding ring, cell phone, wallet and laptop.
When they saw the businessman’s wife in the dining room, the suspects also hogtied her and groped her. The suspects then went upstairs and tied up the businessman’s daughter and sister-in-law, then groped them as well.
When the suspects tried to strip the daughter, they stopped when she began to cry and plead. As the robbers tried to flee, they were caught by Pano and his team, composed of Police Officer 3 Marlon Lamsin and PO1 Edwin Tan, and village watchmen, headed by Dante Eloriaga.
Baker Jimmy Irinco, 33; Victor Eva Jr., 26; Jay Cordial, 24, and Marvin Apilyedo, 18, confessed to the crime.
