Robber shoots ABS-CBN employee

MANILA, Philippines - A technical director of television network ABS-CBN was shot by one of two robbers along Panay Avenue in Quezon City yesterday afternoon.

Crisologo Pangan was walking when one robber tried to grab his bag, which contained his cell phone and laptop. According to radio reports, the other robber shot Pangan in the left leg when he refused to yield his bag.

Pangan ran away and sought help from a guard posted at the nearby “Pinoy Big Brother” house until a medical team from ABS-CBN attended to him and rushed him to Capitol Medical Center.
