DPWH sets weekend road repairs
MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) yesterday said the public should expect heavy traffic in areas where there would be road repairs today until Monday.
In a statement, the DPWH said parts of Pasay City from Sto Niño street to EDSA; Aurora Boulevard (southbound), Andrews Avenue; New Panaderos street in Sta. Ana, Manila from Sta. Ana Church to Lamayan street; South Superhighway (southbound) from Zobel Roxas street to Qurino Avenue; and P. Tramo Avenue between Makati diversion channel and EDSA (center lane) would be closed to traffic.
Repairs would also be done on EDSA in Caloocan City, northbound lane going to Monumento, sixth lane from center island, between G. De Jesus street and Tirona street.; first lane and second lane (southbound) from West Avenue to Quezon Avenue; fourth lane (northbound) from Corregidor to Fema Road; Fairview Avenue second lane (southbound) from Marlboro street to Puregold Market; and EDSA (northbound) first lane between Gate 3 and Gate 2 of Camp Aguinaldo.
The DPWH said there would also be road repairs on B. Serrano Avenue (eastbound) going to Katipunan Avenue, second lane from sidewalk between 20th Avenue and Katipunan Avenue; C3 Road in Navotas City (eastbound) from North Bay Boulevard. to C3 Bridge; and Blumentritt street in Sampaloc; reblocking on Maria Clara to Laon-Laan streets; and asphalt overlay on Laon-Laan to P. Florentino streets.
