Police informer shot dead in Caloocan

MANILA, Philippines - A police informer was gunned down by a still unidentified assailant in front of a police station yesterday morning in Caloocan City.

Northern Police District Special Operations Unit chief Superintendent Bernabe Tarnate identified the victim as Rafael Ignacio, 29, a resident of Valenzuela City.

Ignacio suffered gunshot wounds in the head, chest and buttocks.
