Janelle wants Ramona's passport canceled
MANILA, Philippines - A lawyer for Janelle Manahan will ask the Department of Foreign Affairs today to cancel the passport issued to murder suspect Ramona Bautista.
Lawyer Resty Mendoza said yesterday their urgent motion aims to compel Bautista to face the murder and frustrated murder charges filed against her in connection with the Oct. 28, 2011 attack on Manahan and Ramona’s brother, Ram Revilla (real name Ramgen Bautista), who died of gunshot and stab wounds.
Mendoza said they will also ask the DFA to have Ramona’s name and available photos “posted and circulated” at all consular offices abroad “for the purpose of securing her arrest and deportation.”
