Security agency exec slain

MANILA, Philippines - An operations manager of a security agency was shot dead while conducting an inspection on the guards deployed by their company in Parañaque City Saturday morning.

Damian Landicho had just arrived at a house on Japan street in Barangay Don Bosco, where a guard was stationed, at about 6 a.m. when an unidentified attacker shot him in the back of the neck and left.

Bystanders rushed Landicho to the hospital but he was declared dead on arrival. A spent .45 caliber shell was recovered at the crime scene.
