MANILA, Philippines - A man wanted for drug trafficking was arrested for the same offense by anti-illegal drug operatives of Valenzuela City Tuesday.
Valenzuela City police chief Senior Superintendent Wilben Mayor identified the suspect as Nelson Raymundo, 47, married, native of Bayambang, Pangasinan and resident of 53 Manggahan, Dulong Tangke in Barangay Malinta.
Chief Inspector Allan Rabusa Ruba, head of the Anti-Illegal Drugs- Special Operation Task Group (AID-SOTG), said Raymundo is in their Order of Battle.
SPO2 Donaldo Britana, Warrant and Subpoena Section chief, said Raymundo was arrested while on board a tricycle along Manggahan street at around 3:15 p.m.
Police records showed that Raymundo was first arrested on July 8, 2010 but released after posting bail. The suspect also has a pending arrest warrant for an alleged robbery in Bulacan.
