Woman gives birth at NAIA-2
MANILA, Philippines - A Philippine Airlines (PAL) passenger bound for Ozamiz City gave birth yesterday at the pre-departure area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 (NAIA-2).
Cherlyn Rojo, 31, was found by airport medical personnel lying with her baby boy at 7:45 a.m. with several passengers who helped her during the premature delivery.
Rojo and her baby are in stable condition, according to the NAIA-2 medical staff who attended to her. The two were brought to the Pasay General Hospital for treatment.
Last Sept. 20, a baby boy was born in the passenger tube of a PAL flight bound for San Francisco.
