Man found dead in movie theater

- Nestor Etolle -

MANILA, Philippines - A man in his mid-50s was discovered dead in a movie house in Quiapo, Manila Thursday night.

Police identified the fatality as Crisanto Junio, of Laguna Extension, Tondo, through documents recovered inside the seat compartment of his motorcycle (1887-BU) parked outside Times Theater along Quezon Boulevard in Quiapo.

The theater’s security guard, James Rafinian, recognized the victim as a regular weekly patron of the movie house.

Rafinian told police he was inspecting the movie house at around 10:30 p.m. when he noticed a man seated at the fifth row of the balcony.

Police said the victim could have suffered a heart attack while watching an action movie featured that day.
