Fire hits Pasay condo

MANILA, Philippines - A two-hour fire hit a 10-story high-end condominium under construction along Andrew Avenue in Barangay Villamor, Pasay City yesterday.

The fire broke out at around 9:52 a.m. at the Newport City condominium’s canteen, located at the basement. The fire reached fourth alarm and was declared under control at around noon.

The building is across the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3. No one was injured in the fire. Arson investigators are still trying to determine what caused the blaze.
