Fire hits PSSC building

MANILA, Philippines - A fire broke out at the third floor of the Philippine Social Science Center building along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City yesterday morning.

The fire started at around 6:40 a.m., reached second alarm and destroyed P500,000 worth of property before it was put out at around 7:30 a.m., city fire marshall Senior Superintendent Bobby Baruello said.

No one was hurt in the blaze.
