'Salvage' victim found in vacant lot

MANILA, Philippines - Another suspected victim of summary execution was found in a vacant lot in Quezon City yesterday morning.

The body with its head wrapped in a black garbage bag was found at around 6:20 a.m. at Sampaguita street, Maligaya Park Subdivision, Barangay Pasong Putik. 

Police Officer 3 Modestino Juanson of the Quezon City Police District - Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit described the victim as a male, medium built, fair complexion, about 5’4 in height, and about 40 to 45 years old.

Scene of the Crime Operatives led by Elena Mediana said the victim’s head had two puncture wounds caused by two nails which were apparently driven into his skull.

Last month, two unidentified victims of summary execution were also dumped in La Loma, Quezon City with nails also driven on their heads.
