2 men 'nailed,' strangled

- Michael Punongbayan -

MANILA, Philippines - The bodies of two men, bearing rope marks on their neck and with concrete nails driven into their skull, were found in La Loma, Quezon City shortly after midnight yesterday.

The victims were found along Calavite street in Barangay San Isidro Labrador at around 12:35 a.m., said Senior Police Officer 3 Roldan Dapat.

He said the bodies are being kept in a funeral parlor until relatives identify them, noting that investigators cannot subject them to an autopsy without the consent of family members.

Police said one of the victims, believed to be around 30 years old, had a five-headed dragon tattoo while the other appeared to be around 20 years old. The bodies bore no gunshot or stab wounds.
