MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Foreign Affairs, through its Office of Legal Affairs, has made available on its website the full text of 1,600 international agreements entered into by the country since 1946.
The DFA launched the Philippine Treaties Online project in line with the administration’s commitment to transparency.
Businessmen can benefit from information on agreements, trade access, investment promotion and protection, and avoidance of double taxation.
Farmers and fisher folk may benefit from agreements on foreign technical and development assistance. Students can avail of educational and cultural exchange programs with other countries.
