- Jerry Botial -

MANILA, Philippines - The loud cries for help of a saleslady who was robbed on her way home led to the capture and arrest of at least one of three holdup men in Caloocan City yesterday morning.

Victim Susette Mangalindan, 28, of Block 2, Landaska street Barangay 28 in Caloocan City told investigators she was robbed at around 1:50 a.m along Kawal street in Purok 11. She said she surrendered her bag but shouted for help as soon as the suspects ran away, drawing the attention of local village watchmen.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Jude Wilson Santos said Dominic Cabuang, 18, resident of Block 6, Sawata street, Caloocan City was charged with robbery holdup before the city prosecutor’s office.
