Fireman hurt in Quezon City blaze

MANILA, Philippines - A firefighter was injured in a fire in Quezon City yesterday morning.
Senior Fire Officer 2 Rio Fernando sustained cuts in his arms when he hit a galvanized iron sheet from a burning house in Barangay Bagong Pag-asa. He was brought to East Avenue Medical Center.
A report from the Quezon City Fire District said the flames started at around 10 a.m. and damaged five houses amounting to around P4 million.
Investigation is still ongoing to determine what caused the flames.
