Fil-Am, 2 others nabbed over 2 kilos of cocaine

MANILA, Philippines - A Filipino-American and two others were arrested for selling two kilos of cocaine in Taguig City Monday night.

Vastine Jose and his companions, Albert Joaquin and Alberto Ty, both from Samar province, were at the ground floor parking area of a mall in Fort Bonifacio at about 9:30 p.m.

Senior Superintendent Tomas Apolinario Jr. could not give an estimated market value of the confiscated drugs.

Apolinario said the operation was headed by the Philippine National Police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AIDSOFT), while his station merely provided additional security.
