Father, daughter hurt in Pateros fire

MANILA, Philippines - A father and daughter were hurt when a 20-minute fire hit their house in Pateros town early yesterday.

Fire Officer 1 Anthony Faustino identified the victims as Apolinario, 42, and Mica Santos, 22, of Barangay San Pedro. They were both asleep when the stock room in the third floor of their house went ablaze at 5:10 a.m.

Apolinario sustained minor burns on his face and hands, while Mica had burns on her foot. The two were rushed to a hospital in Pasig City.
