Cab driver robbed, killed

MANILA, Philippines - A taxi driver was found dead with slit neck inside his vehicle in Pasay City Saturday evening. Senior Inspector Melvin Montante, chief of Pasay police’s special operations unit said concerned citizens found Eugenio Losorata Jr.’s slumped on the steering wheel of his white taxi Flovhiemar (TXJ 167) along Macapagal Boulevard.
Chief Inspector Raymund Liguden said there are no witnesses to the crime but robbery is likely to be a motive because the victim’s cellular phone and wallet were missing.
