2 carjack suspects killed in shootout identified

MANILA, Philippines - The two other suspected carjackers killed in an encounter with policemen early Tuesday morning have been identified.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Jude Wilson Santos said the two other fatalities are Alexer Casco, 35, and Romeo Austero, 34, both of 181-Block 14, Lot 8, Phase 1, Bagong Nayon, Antipolo City.

The other slain suspect was identified earlier as Michael Casiguran, also of Barangay Bagong Nayon, while the other one has yet to be identified. The fifth suspect managed to escape.
