'Cops' slap driver in Pasay

- Aie Balagtas See -

MANILA, Philippines - Two men who introduced themselves as “members of the PNP (Philippine National Police)” slapped and pointed a gun at a 27-year-old company driver in Pasay City Saturday.

Exequiel Efondo told police he was driving along Tramo street when a red Honda City (PQE-327) blocked his path.

A man alighted from the vehicle and demanded that Efondo give him his driver’s license. When he refused, the man slapped him, while the latter’s companion pointed a gun and cursed at him.

The two left when they saw barangay watchmen rushing to the driver’s aid.
