MANILA, Philippines - A young boy was found dead by a roadside in Caloocan City. Officer-on-case SPO2 Carlos Almario said the victim, who is not known in the neighborhood is between 13 to 15 years old and wearing t-shirt and maong pants.
The victim sustained four stab wounds in the back, according to Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) led by Chief Inspector Benigno Asilar.
Joy Yton, 22, student and resident of Phase 4, Package 4, Block 3, Lot 28 in Bagong Silang, North Caloocan said she found the victim’s bloodied body after she heard noises in front of their house around 1:45 a.m. yesterday.
She immediately called for assistance and informed purok leader Amalia Ricamora about the incident. Authorities are still conducting follow-up operation for the arrest of the suspect.
