Man hangs self in Navotas

Manila, Philippines - A 26-year-old man was found hanging from a nylon cord looped around his neck in his room in Barangay North Bay Boulevard North, Navotas City before dawn yesterday.

Police said John Paul Pradez was rushed to the Tondo Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival.

His relatives told police Pradez had always complained about how difficult his life was. “He was despairing, bored, confused,” said a relative who declined to be named.

Police said they are investigating Pradez’s death and have not ruled out foul play.
