Lovers shot dead in Caloocan City

Manila, Philippines - A city hall employee and his alleged paramour were shot dead by two unidentified suspects while drinking in a bar Monday night in Caloocan City.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Jude Wilson Santos identified the victims as Robert Sabang, 43, resident of 2616 Captain Rico street, Barangay 174 and assigned to the Reformed Department of Public Safety and Traffic Management (RDPSTM) of the Caloocan City Hall Annex.

His alleged lover was identified as Marylyn de Leche, 27, resident of Paulino Compound in the same barangay in Camarin, North Caloocan.

Sabang sustained multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of the body while De Leche died from a gunshot wound in the head.

Scene of the Crime Operatives found several empty shells from a caliber .45 pistol at the crime scene.
