Investigators have yet to check the registration of the motorcycle to determine the owner.

Alorro said both victims were not wearing helmets. They died on the spot from fatal injuries they sustained during the accident that happened at past 2 a.m. in front of Mary the Queen Church along Belfast Avenue in Barangay Pasong Putik.
The area has no lighting during the night and could be one of the reasons why the accident happened, according to Alorro.
He said no one was able to see what kind of vehicle hit the motorcycle of the victims.
The couple were moving along Belfast Avenue from Quirino Highway on their way toward Mindanao Extension.
According to Alorro, the motorcycle was hit from behind by another vehicle and, because of this, the couple got thrown off into the road. The victims also got ran over by the unknown vehicle that did not even stop and help the couple.
