MANILA, Philippines - A businessman who was being frisked at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 swallowed what authorities believe was a sachet of shabu found in one pocket, but forgot another sachet of shabu in his other pocket.
Superintendent Al’Abner Santos said Enrico Aldaba, 51, was bound for Palawan yesterday when a frisker found something in his pocket and asked him to empty it. Aldaba immediately put the sachet in his mouth and swallowed it.
The frisker checked Aldaba again, and found another sachet, which contained .03 grams of shabu, in his right pants pocket. Aldaba was arrested and turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
