Man nabbed for illegal shotgun

Manila, Philippines - Police arrested a man in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City yesterday after he was caught carrying an improvised shotgun and ammunition for a 12-gauge shotgun.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Jude Santos said Winston Jamin, 21, failed to present documents to prove he is authorized to carry a gun and that he owns it. Jamin was charged with illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
