2 rob suspects slain in entrapment

MANILA, Philippines - Two men were shot dead by Manila policemen after they allegedly tried to rob a policewoman who pretended to be a commuter waiting for a jeepney along Laon-Laan street in Sampaloc, Manila Thursday night.
Marlon Dulay, 19, and his unidentified companion were declared dead on arrival at the Ospital ng Sampaloc.
Sampaloc police station chief Superintendent Jemar Modequillo said he laid a trap following reports of motorcycle-riding robbers targeting commuters in the area.
