9 nabbed in Taguig cybersex den raid

MANILA, Philippines -  Police arrested an alleged sex den operator and her eight female “performers” during a raid on a house in Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Director Nicanor Bartolome said the eight women, ranging in age from 23 to 45, were caught performing sex acts in front of web cameras. He said paying clients receive live video feeds of the women’s performances.

NCRPO’ Regional Police Intelligence and Operating Unit (RPIOU) chief Superintendent Remus Medina said they arrested alleged operator Benedicta Caluag, 45, who said she has been running her business for more than two years, employing women from the neighborhood. The models said they are paid P10 per minute, and Caluag said she gets a percentage of the money sent by clients through remittance firms.
