- Mike Frialde -

MANILA, Philippines - Four Makati City barangay employees were dismissed yesterday after having tested positive for using shabu in a recent surprise drug test conducted by the Makati Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC).

In a report submitted to Makati City Mayor Jejomar Erwin Binay Jr., the dismissed Barangay Guadalupe Viejo workers were identified as Noel Romasanta, a member of the barangay environmental police; and barangay watchmen Pablo Geronimo Jr., Emmanuel Grona and Joseph Gonzales.

Binay said a resident complained of illegal activities in the barangay and asked that barangay personnel be tested for drugs.
