American tourist found dead in hotel

MANILA, Philippines -  A 52-year-old American tourist was found dead yesterday morning in his room at a Pasay City hotel.

Chief Inspector Raymund Liguden identified the victim as Chris Allen Holden from Montana.

A duty manager found the victim on the bed at around 3 a.m., and a hotel physician tried in vain to revive Holden.

Crime scene investigators processed the room and the body was brought to a nearby funeral parlor for autopsy. Liguden said Holden’s body did not bear any external injuries.
