MANILA, Philippines - A Belgian businessman was shot in the face by robbers who broke into his store Saturday, police said yesterday.
Chief Inspector Jenny Tecson identified the victim as Daniel Rasul, who owns a laundry shop called Pressing Bleu Lavandae along Kilometer 18 of South Superhighway in Barangay Marcelo Green, Parañaque City.
Rasul was with stay-in helper Elsa Bisca when two men barged into the shop. He reportedly refused to give up his cell phone, prompting one of the robbers to shoot him.
